The Focus Group was launched to update the existing ATIS Reference Architecture to reflect emerging industry initiatives, including SDN, NFV and underlying technologies such as data center compute and storage resources.
With the successful enhancement of the RFM to include SDN and NFV principles, it was deemed to be sufficiently mature to disseminate to a broader audience of ATIS Committees / Forums for feedback and application within their respective work efforts.
