Network-Enabled Artificial Intelligence

As commonly defined, Artificial intelligence (AI) refers to the intelligence exhibited by machines or computational systems that perceive the environment and take actions to maximize the chance of success at some defined goal that, in the near past, required human intervention. AI carries a vast potential for making network operations more efficient and easier to manage. It also holds promise for creating or enhancing new revenue-producing features and capabilities for service providers.

ATIS is considering key ways in which service providers can more effectively leverage growing AI capabilities as well as support AI offers provided by third-party providers. We are also engaged in mapping the overall AI landscape from the service provider perspective.
