Accurate time is easy to define, but the concept of assured time includes such qualifiers as: secure, resilient, and robust. The use of multiple and diverse mechanisms for delivering time to the user, combined through robust and competent processing, is clearly an optimal strategy.
The goal of this workshop is twofold: to come to a consensus on a set of attributes defining assuredness of time, as well as to provide a venue for coordination between user communities, government players and time providers.
