Wireless Committee

Mission Statement

Responsible for identifying, discussing and resolving technical and operational issues related to wireless communication interfaces and associated processes. The Wireless InterCarrier Communication Interface Specification (WICIS) document is managed under the purview of this committee.

Fast Track Issue Process

This process was developed for Issues that require an expedited timeline for resolution.

Technical Subcommittee

The Technical Subcommittee was established at OBF #84. The purpose of the subcommittee is to address technical issues accepted by the Wireless Committee. This subcommittee will be comprised of technical subject matter experts. The subcommittee will keep the Wireless Committee informed of all efforts and provide recommendations for review.

Intermodal Subcommittee

The Intermodal Subcommittee (IS) was developed to address and resolve issues pertaining to the ordering and provisioning of local telecommunications services between wireline and wireless providers.
