Vision Statement

Creation of information exchange processes and automated interface standards for the global communications markets.

Mission Statement

To provide a focal point for the development of operational standards for the exchange of ordering, provisioning and billing information between customers and providers. Serves as the OBF interface for priorities identified by the ATIS Board TOPS Council, CIO Council and regulatory/legislative activities as presented by the ATIS General Counsel.

This allows SAG to:

  • Improve customer service quality
  • Improve productivity
  • Facilitate the rapid introduction of new and innovative services
  • Monitor operational costs
  • Enable industry to solve interconnection and information exchange problems between trading partners
  • Facilitate business to business interactivity in an increasingly competitive local and global environment
