• JR Wright and Dave Whitney to prepare a contribution on IPTV oriented most common scenarios (scenarios that are useful from an IPTV perspective) for QoS Ordering between Service/network providers (SP and NP or SP to SP)
• Connie Hunt to:
• provide a new contribution to:
• include The Reseller case, CP scenario - Examples of IPTV SP to SP: flight tracker, weather, movie house lineups, etc., similar to browser capability on a TV screen.
• Categorize the scenarios (major types of interfaces) and text that explains the relationships.
• IIF had a document that was withdrawn that dealt with infrastructure that might have examples.
• provide the diagram she created to Linda to synch colors etc. [A.K. done]
• update contribution TMOC-AIP-2007-202 - to reflect that:
• the Advertiser and Ad Insertion are outside of OSS and that the ad insertion system gets the ads from a repository - advertiser places in (upload content to a) repository, i.e., content transmittal is separate
• another scenario that involves a directory of advertisements – should be added to the first paragraph.
• the advertiser selects target audience preferences.
• portal has to have another dimension; IP person identifies what ads they would like. Based on customer usage, a categorization (profile) of that customer is built and that is where targeted ads are sent. In the future, ads can be inserted real time according to demographics or other criteria. Different ads can be sent at the same time to different groups. - expand the 2nd paragraph to include this item.
• consider how to make the text less restrictive - the current text only accommodates the advertiser/SP relationship and it should not be that restrictive.
• Linda to:
• look at the UMA methodology to see if we can improve our use case template and if we can learn anything on the requirements or interface definition.
• update TMOC-AIP-2007-197R1:
• fix the Y/N aspect of the diagram.
• use of “confirm” or “deny”
• update the diagram in this contribution so that it is consistent with the one provided by Connie
• change “Service Resources Availability” to be “Services Availability” and “Network Resources Availability” to be “Resources Availability”.
• put the S/P Interface in a column
• Yvonne Reigle (ATIS Director) will work on having a SME on the next Joint Team call to give a short review of the UMA methodology. If someone is not available for the next call, an ad-hoc (tiny team) meeting may be scheduled for this review.

i. ARCH TF Requirements documents (ATIS-0800002) states that there will be support for a mechanism to track purchases and subscriptions.
1. The Metadata TF requested elaboration on what was meant by such a mechanism in order to properly plan for what metadata would be needed.
2. The ARCH TF:
1. has not yet done any work in this area – it is a topic that belongs in WT-022, Linear TV Service, but purchasing linear TV service is not a phase 1 activity
2. will do further investigation into resolving this – thinks that the TMOC IPTV TF addresses billing and may have done some useful work in this area.
8. Schedule of next calls (All calls are scheduled from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM (ET)):
• December 10th
• January 8th
• January 22nd
