The 811 - Consolidated Services Invoice/Statement was purposely created with flexibility, allowing it to be used by many industries for different types of charges and services. This flexibility however, creates the opportunity, within an industry, for inconsistencies between implementations.

Business Models developed by EDI Telecommunications Billing, for use of the 811, strive for consistent implementation.
