Joint Billing and Message Processing Committees

Mission Statement:

The purpose of the EMI DBUG is to perform a review of all proposed changes to the EMI document for:

• Completeness (additions/changes appropriate in all sections of the document)
• Accuracy (i.e. spelling, punctuation, grammar, content, etc.)
• Conflict with other proposals/resolutions
• Consistency (in sync with existing documentation)
• Format (record layouts, record descriptions, field descriptions)
  

The EMI DBUG will identify future enhancements to the database and

• make priority and funding recommendations to the full committees and the SAG Finance and Budget Team (FBT)
• monitor the implementation of enhancements

The EMI DBUG is responsible for both the mechanized and non-mechanized portions of the EMI Document.

The EMI DBUG is a joint Billing/Message Processing Subcommittee.
