Next Generation - Evolution, Convergence, and Carrier Interconnect (NG-ECCI) Coordination Group

The NG-ECCI is a coordination/program management group/mechanism to track and assess on an ongoing basis the work surrounding the development of NGN and converged architecture.

The NG-ECCI Coordination Group:

• Proactively assesses workshop deliverables
• Identifies work essential to achieving a common NGN Architecture (determines overlaps & gaps)
• Assesses and adjusts work on an ongoing basis and proposes actions to address areas identified
• Identifies aspects of convergence that require attention
  • gaps => who should address them (gaps brought in by the committees)
  • technical overlaps => identify prime, or joint meetings
  • related issues => share results, joint meetings, etc.
• Enables committee collaboration and work hand off for data publication and understanding future data needs in relation to current data needs

The NG-ECCI Coordination Group consists of:

• Committee leadership (required members)
• ATIS staff to administer/facilitate meetings
• SMEs as required
