Maria Palamara is a Distinguished Member of Technical Staff responsible for CDMA Product Line Strategy at Alcatel-Lucent. Over the past seventeen years Maria has played a lead role in realizing both the technological and business potential of mobile networks, and continues to define migration strategies for CDMA customers as they evolve their networks to the future of LTE.
Maria has participated in the definition of 3G radio technologies as well as laying the groundwork for Alcatel-Lucent’s IMS product line strategy for converged wireless and wireline markets. Maria has been instrumental in leading Alcatel-Lucent’s recent product, market, and standards strategies relative to enhanced HRPD, facilitating seamless service offerings between CDMA and LTE networks.
Maria has a Masters of Science degree from Columbia University in New York City, and a Bachelors of Engineering degree from the Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art in New York City. Both are in Mechanical Engineering.
