Greg Cobb is Vice President and Assistant General Manager for the Technology Licensing division of QUALCOMM, Inc. headquartered in San Diego, California. In this role, he is responsible for the licensing of QUALCOMM’s wireless technology to telecommunications and manufacturing companies worldwide. This includes the initial contact with potential patent licensees, a review of each company’s specific business plans as it relates to the development of wireless products, negotiation of the patent license agreement and where appropriate, providing for the transfer of QUALCOMM’s wireless technology via chips, software and documentation. Although his responsibilities are worldwide, his recent area of focus has been Asia because of its rapid growth as a manufacturing base for wireless telecommunications products.

Prior to joining QUALCOMM in 1996, Mr. Cobb was Vice President, International for Anacomp, Inc. a document management company where he was responsible for the company’s offices and distributors in Asia and Latin America. His career has also included product planning, business development, sales and manufacturing management positions throughout the United States with DuPont and General Dynamics.

Mr. Cobb has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Delaware and a Masters in Business Administration with honors from Long Island University. He currently resides with his wife Lyn and their three children in the Scripps Ranch community of San Diego.
