Fred Terhaar, Sales Director for Customer Solutions, is responsible for Ericsson’s microwave, optical, carrier ethernet and broadband access portfolio for the US and Canada. He is also responsible for developing and selling next generation backhaul solutions that meet the needs of North American 3G and 4G service providers.

Prior to his current role, Terhaar was responsible for Ericsson mobile core business with AT&T mobility. Before moving to the US, he worked in Sweden as a product manager for Ericsson’s first SGSN and GGSN releases.

Terhaar holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the Vrije Universiteit (Free University) in Amsterdam.
