New developments in antennas, OFDM air interface, intelligent schedulers, advance radios and digital signal processing (DSP) allow operators to re-engineer their network for high speed data, and not just voice. Picocell, Microcell, and in-building architecture can achieve the higher Signal to Interference plus Noise Ratio (SINR) to utilize higher order modulation and capabilities of LTE. During this session, TELUS will share the results of a recent study on Next-Generation Wireless Radio Technology and Architecture as it applies to LTE addressing these issues and more.
