ATIS monitors regulatory, legislative and other public policy developments in support of its role as a leader in the development of technical and operational standards. ATIS serves as an educational resource on policy developments that affect members, and promotes a regulatory legislative and legal environment that supports the development and deployment of technical and operations solutions and standards.


Regulatory Reports

On a quarterly basis, ATIS prepares reports on legal, regulatory and legislative developments of interest to ATIS members.  Click here to review past reports.  (Access is restricted to ATIS members only.)

ATIS has prepared an index of regulatory proceeding.This cumulative index shows the dockets and issues that have been included in ATIS quarterly regulatory reports and indicates the date of the report that describes the last action or other development.  The index also includes citations to the dates of previous regulatory reports that refer to specific proceedings/issues.


Legal Training for ATIS Committee Leadership

The presentation, provided in April 2008, offers guidelines for ATIS committee leaders on matters such as antitrust, copyright and patent issues.

This presentation, provided in June 2009, describes ATIS' Intellectual Property Rights policies.
