Description: ATIS' IPTV Interoperability Forum (IIF) has taken a highly flexible approach to the standardization of IPTV service. IIF standards recognize the special demands a streaming video service places on a delivery network and assume that the service is implemented over a Next Generation Network (NGN); an IP network that has managed resources. But what network architecture is assumed? Is it based on IMS or Non-IMS protocols?
This Webinar will focus on how a device attaches to the network (either IMS or Non-IMS), what service providers are available via the network, how a device attaches to a service provider, and what services they offer. Most importantly, the process will show how the standardized data structure model is used during each phase of attachment.
