Source-Specific Multicast (SSM)
SSM uses both the source and the group address to identify the session traffic as noted as (S,G). SSM-enabled protocols are able to differentiate between (SI, G) and (S2, G) as unique multicast groups allowing a group address to be reused by different multicast sources.
