degraded unit of time
A specified period of time during which bits are transferred from a source to a destination, where a bit error ratio worse than a specified threshold occurs. Severely errored units of time are excluded from the calculation. An example of a degraded unit of time is a degraded minute (DM). [T1.507-1996]
