fps
Abbreviation for frames per second. In video and television, the number of images contained in a single second of a moving picture. Note: Thirty fps is considered full-motion video in NTSC systems, while 25 fps is considered full-motion in PAL and SECAM systems. Many proprietary video technologies produce 15 fps video; 24 fps is considered full-motion in motion-picture technology.
