Internet phone
A combination of software and hardware that allows a user to approximate a telephone conversation over an Internet connection instead of using a traditional telephone system. Note 1: The required hardware generally consists of a microphone and headphones. Note 2: The sound quality of current Internet-phone systems is much less than that of traditional telephone systems.
