ATIS Standards Committees

Industry professionals from more than 300 communications companies actively participate in ATIS industry committees and Incubator Solutions programs. ATIS develops standards and solutions addressing a wide range of industry issues in a manner that allocates and coordinates industry resources, and produces the greatest return on investment for communications companies.Learn more about the ATIS Standards Committees.

ATIS CIO Council

The ATIS CIO council identifies and discusses Information Technology (IT) issues of common interest to the service provider community; frames, coordinates, and advances solutions to these common IT issues; and provides perspective and direction to the development of industry standards, guidelines, and best practices. ATIS IPTV Interoperability Forum (IIF)

The ATIS IPTV Interoperability Forum (IIF) guides the creation of Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) standards for the industry and addresses technical issues that support adoption of IPTV. Learn more about the ATIS IIF.

ATIS Technology and Operations (TOPS) Council

A standing committee of the ATIS Board of Directors, the Technology and Operations (TOPS) Council identifies the industry's most pressing technical and operational priorities and coordinates standardization efforts industry-wide to produce interoperable, implementable, end-to-end solutions. ATIS IPv6 Task Force

The ATIS IPv6 Task Force, commissioned by the TOPS Council in September 2005, assesses various aspects of IPv6, such as key drivers behind the transition to IPv6, and the impacts a transition will likely have on the existing Internet Protocol version 4 (IPv4) infrastructure.
