1. How do I order a document from the ATIS Document Center?
 

You may order all of our documents online. You may order documents by credit card or check. We must receive payment at the time of the order.

To pay by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, or American Express) return to the ATIS Document Center Home Page and follow the listed instructions. ATIS encourages all individuals and groups to use this method as it is the most expeditious method to get your documents. If you need to order by check, contact the ATIS Document Center between 9 AM and 5 PM, Eastern time at 1-866-263-0064. Or email doccenter@atis.org.

To place order by mail or fax. see answers to questions 12 and 13, below.

 
2. What are the shipping and handling charges?
 

Shipping charges are automatically entered on orders for print copies or CDs. These are shipped via DHL within 72 hours with additional shipping and handling applied as follows:

Shipping and Handling Costs:
1 item - $20
2-3 items - $25
4-5 items - $30
6-10 items - $35
11 or more items - $40

Actual shipping charges plus $20 apply to all international orders for paper copies and CDs.

For rush deliveries of paper copies and CDs, contact customer service at 1-866-263-0064. Please note all rush deliveries must be submitted by 2:00 PM ET in order to be processed that day.

 
3. I ordered a document several weeks ago and it has not arrived. What do I do?
 

Normally it will take about a week to receive a document. Sometimes our paper copies or CD ROM copies need to be produced to fulfill your order. Under these circumstances, you should receive a backorder notification from the ATIS Document Center. If you are in doubt, please contact the ATIS Document Center at 1-866-263-0064 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Eastern time; or e-mail doccenter@atis.org.

 
4. I have searched the ATIS Document Center but I can’t seem to locate the document I need.
 
First make sure the document you are looking is an ATIS document. There are other standards organizations that issue documents. Try an internet search engine to see if other standards organization may have issued the document. Then, make sure you have searched using all 4 methods that are available to you. These are ATIS sponsored committee, Document Type, Keyword, or Document Number. Then talk with others in your industry to see if they use ATIS documents and can help you. Finally, you can send an email message to the ATIS Document Center Manager, Kerrianne Conn. Please include as much information as you may have about the document. 5. In the middle of downloading a document the process stopped and I did not receive my document. What do I do now?
 

If you should encounter a problem, please email a message describing the following: ATIS document number(s) (all documents in the order), date ordered, description of specific problem encountered and your full contact information to: kconn@atis.org, attention Kerrianne Conn, Document Center Manager.

 
6. I was billed incorrectly on my credit card for a document that I downloaded from ATIS. What should I do?
 

Send an email message to the ATIS Document Center Manager, Kerrianne Conn. Steve’s email address is kconn@atis.org. Include type of credit card, name on credit card, date of transaction, order number (seven digit number preceded by the letter, W), document ordered (name and ATIS document number), and last four digits of credit card number. Also include why you feel you were billed incorrectly. You will receive an email message in return when the problem is resolved or to ask additional questions.

 
7. I am looking for a new version of a document. How do I find when it will be issued?
 

While most ATIS documents are updated on an ‘as necessary’ basis, some are updated on a schedule. We try and make a new document available as soon as it is completed by a Committee.

 
8. I have misplaced my credit card receipt. I need it for my company records. Can you provide me with a replacement?
 

You may obtain a replacement receipt from ATIS. Send the name on the credit card, the type of card, the order number (seven digit number preceded by the letter, W), the transaction date, the amount, the documents purchased and the last four digits of the credit card to Kerrianne Conn, ATIS Document Center Manager. Kerrianne’s email address is kconn@atis.org.

 
9. I am working with a new vendor and they said to call ATIS and get the documents that I need.
 

It is very important to us that you receive the documents you need. Therefore, to ensure you do not purchase the wrong document, you should go back to your vendor and ask them for an ATIS Document number for the document(s) that you need. If they have worked with the document before, they should have no problem getting you the appropriate information.

 
10. I have found a document at the ATIS Document Center that I think that I need. I would feel better about the purchase if I had more information about the document or could "preview" its contents?
 

Some documents include Preview Pages. When the document search has produced the document alternatives in the Document Store, please select the “Preview Sample Pages” choice for the desired document. If sample pages are available, they will be displayed. If they are not available a message indicating the pages are not available will be displayed.

11. I have a specific question about a specific document that I need answered before I purchase the document. Who can help me?
 

Send your inquiry, via email to Kerrianne Conn, ATIS Document Center Manager. Kerrianne’s email address is kconn@atis.org. Kerrianne, in turn, will forward your query to a subject matter expert in an ATIS committee. This individual will get back to you in a timely fashion.
