ATIS Experts to Share Insights at TelcoTV 2010


October 29, 2010, Washington, D.C – The Alliance for Telecommunications Industry Solutions (ATIS) is pleased to announce that leading industry experts from its IPTV Interoperability Forum (IIF) will be sharing their knowledge at TelcoTV 2010. TelcoTV 2010 is scheduled for November 9 – 11, at the Venetian Resort Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Steven Wright, AT&T, Chair of the IIF, will present the opening keynote on November 9th. The keynote, IPTV Innovation, Investment, Standards and Interoperability, will examine IPTV’s transformational capabilities, and the underlying investment and standards which make them possible.

ATIS IPTV experts will also be participating in an IIF Town Hall, also scheduled for Tuesday, November 9th. The Town Hall will allow the IIF’s Working Groups’ Leaders to provide updates on the IIF's work, and field questions from the audience in an open, conversational format. Dan O’Callaghan, Verizon, IIF Vice Chair, is scheduled to moderate. The following IIF Leaders are also scheduled to participate: Randy Sharpe, Alcatel Lucent, Co-Chair, IIF Architecture Committee; Madjid Nakhjiri, Motorola, Co-Chair, IIF IPTV Security Solutions Committee; Kinney Bacon, Cisco, Co-Chair, IIF Metadata Committee; Ken Kerpez, Telcordia, Co-Chair, IIF Quality of Service Metrics Committee; and Jayne Jacobs, Motorola, Co-Chair, IIF Testing and Interoperability Committee.

Additionally, Michael Hluchyj, Verivue, ATIS IPTV Interoperability Co-Editor, will be presenting a session titled IPTV Content on Demand Service Architecture on Thursday, November 11th.
