May 7, 2009, Washington, DC - The Alliance for Telecommunications Industry Solutions (ATIS) announces the release of more than 200 protection engineering seminars. Intended to provide protection engineers with some of the industry experts’ best thinking, this compilation brings ten years of Protection Engineers Group (PEG) work to a wider audience and in a convenient and searchable format. Previously only available to PEG conference attendees, this compilation’s release marks the first time these presentations have been publicly available.
Created with ease-of-use in mind by Michael J. Maytum, an internationally-noted protection engineer, the presentations are searchable by year, by presenter, and by topical area. Each presentation is also searchable by one or more of following areas: Broadband; Damage, Fiber, Grounding & bonding, Interference, Lightning, Powering, Protection, Standards, Substations, Transmitters, and Miscellaneous.
The “Annual Conference Presentations 1999-2008” is available for purchase in the ATIS Document Center at www.atis.org/docstore/default.aspx. A 15% discount is available to all ATIS members.
Special recognition is given to Bournes, Inc. a 2009 Platinum PEG Conference Sponsor for its production of the compilation.
