TELUS Joins ATIS as a New Member

June 17, 2008, Las Vegas, NV - TELUS, a national telecommunications company in Canada, has joined the Alliance for Telecommunications Industry Solutions (ATIS). TELUS joins over 300 information, entertainment and communications companies that make up ATIS’ large and diverse membership. ATIS is a leading technical and operations standards development organization, dedicated to the rapid development and promotion of worldwide interoperable, implementable, end-to-end industry standards.

Ibrahim Gedeon, Chief Technology Officer of TELUS, will join the ATIS Board of Directors and will lead TELUS’ participation on the Network Performance Reliability and Quality of Service Committee (PRQC), Packet Technologies and Systems Committee (PTSC) and the IPTV Interoperability Forum (IIF).
