Webinar content: A can’t-miss event for anyone interested in helping IPTV deliver a much anticipated new era in next generation video services. Protecting the material of content owners, publishers and distributors from unauthorized users and illegal distribution is essential to IPTV’s success. DRM is a collection of technologies enabling the definition and enforcement of secure content transport as well as secure content licensing. But, unchecked, content protection requirements can affect the video quality delivered to the viewer. This ATIS Webinar will examine the key issues in deploying DRM technology and measuring its impact on QoE end-to-end. The ATIS webinar is presented in partnership with Symmetricom, Inc.
Featured presenters: Bob Kulakowski, Chief Technology Officer, Verimatrix, Inc., a company whose "camera to the couch" vision addresses system security challenges throughout the value chain of content creation and distribution, and Dr. Stefan Winkler, Chief Scientist, Symmetricom Quality of Experience Assurance Division, and one of the world’s top experts in digital media quality. Following the presentations there will be a Q&A session.
