ATIS Names Thomas Goode as General Counsel

September 11, 2006, Washington – ATIS announced today that Thomas E. Goode has been promoted to General Counsel. Goode has served as Associate General Counsel for ATIS since January 2005.

“Tom has been an invaluable member of the legal staff at ATIS, and it a great pleasure to promote him to the position of General Counsel,” said Susan M. Miller, president and CEO of ATIS.

Prior to joining ATIS, Goode served as the Director of Government Affairs with the Personal Communications Industry Association (PCIA), the Wireless Infrastructure Association. Previously, he worked for technology companies developing systems to provide broadband over power lines, including ONELINE AG.  At ONELINE, Goode served as General Counsel and was in charge of developing North American operations. He managed legal, regulatory, and business development for the company.

Goode also served as Associate General Counsel with the United Telecom Council where he represented critical infrastructure industries before U.S. Congress and federal regulatory bodies. He also helped to launch the Council’s business development and global divisions, where he worked with international utilities seeking to develop new telecommunications businesses.

Goode has a Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Loyola College in Baltimore, Maryland.
