January 24, 2005, Washington – ATIS today announced that Thomas E. Goode will join the ATIS legal department on January 27, 2005. Goode brings 14 years of telecommunications experience to ATIS, having served as counsel to a variety of national associations and international corporations.

Most recently, he served as Director of Government Relations for PCIA – The Wireless Infrastructure Association, where he worked on federal legal and regulatory matters, state initiatives and local zoning issues. Previously, he managed the U.S. legal, regulatory, and business strategies for German technology companies and also served as the Associate General Counsel with the United Telecom Council, representing the critical infrastructure industries before Congress and federal regulatory bodies.

“Tom is an excellent addition to our staff,” said Susan M. Miller, president and CEO of ATIS. “His experience and insight will help represent ATIS in Washington and in the global telecommunication standards community.”

Goode has a Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Loyola College in Baltimore, Maryland.
