ATIS to Produce Technology Education Program for USTA’s TELECOM ’04

TELECOM ’04 – October 9-13, Las Vegas, Nevada

March 30, 2004, Washington, D.C. - Today, two prominent telecom groups announced that they will team up to provide cutting-edge technology education programming at the telecom industry’s fastest growing trade show. Looking to build on record attendance last year, the United States Telecom Association (USTA) has expanded the programming for TELECOM ’04 by inviting ATIS, the leader in communications and information technology standards development, to share its knowledge and expertise with thousands of telecom industry professionals meeting in Las Vegas for USTA’s TELECOM ’04.

“ATIS’ technology education program adds another powerful dimension to TELECOM ’04,” said Walter B. McCormick, Jr., president and CEO of USTA. “TELECOM ’04 is where the industry’s leaders and visionaries come together to look to the future and ATIS’ dynamic sessions will help guarantee that this is one show that communications professionals cannot afford to miss.”

“ATIS is very proud to be a part of TELECOM ’04,” said Susan M. Miller, president and CEO of ATIS. “We look forward to producing a program that clearly defines the path and direction of new communications technologies for the benefit of the leading telecommunications executives who annually attend this important event.”

In addition to producing the TELECOM ’04 technology program, ATIS plans to conduct meetings of its standards committees in conjunction with TELECOM ’04.

USTA and ATIS will announce the technical sessions presenters for the featured programs in the coming months. TELECOM ’04 Annual Conference & Exhibition will be held October 9-13, 2004 at the Venetian Hotel, Las Vegas, Nevada. For more information visit www.ustelecom04.com.
