Fujitsu Group President and COO George Chase Joins ATIS Board of Directors

February 4, 2004, Washington, D.C. – ATIS – the leader in communications and information technology standards development – is pleased to announce that Fujitsu Network Communications has joined ATIS as a member company. Representing Fujitsu on the ATIS Board of Directors is George Chase, group president and chief operating officer (COO).

With more than 30 years experience in the telecom industry, Chase oversees the company’s operations, engineering and development, product planning, marketing and sales divisions.

The TOPS Council is currently focusing on five areas it has identified as critically important: voice over IP, mobile wireless services, wide area Ethernet, network security, and data interchange.
