ATIS Announces 3rd Annual OBF Vendor Demonstration

June 18, 2003, Washington, D.C. - The Alliance for Telecommunications Industry Solutions (ATIS) announced today that the 3rd Annual Ordering and Billing Forum (OBF) Vendor Demonstration will be held on August 19, 2003, at the Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina in San Diego, CA.

The Vendor Demo will take place during the quarterly meeting of the OBF, an ATIS-sponsored industry forum that resolves critical ordering, billing, provisioning, and information exchange related issues for the communications and related information technologies industry. The Vendor Demo provides an opportunity for industry vendors to meet with ordering and billing experts, and to showcase new technologies and services.

The OBF is responsible for standards and operating guidelines, which support access ordering, bulling and provisioning of services as well as the associated mechanization specifications. Numerous carriers, service providers, manufacturers, software developers and consulting companies actively participate in the OBF, which utilizes an industry-based consensus process to resolve key issues and challenges.
