Spirent Communications Joins the Alliance for Telecommunications Industry Solutions

September 12, 2002, Washington, D.C. - The Alliance for Telecommunications Industry Solutions (ATIS), the leader in communications standards development, today announced that Spirent Communications has joined ATIS as a member company.

Spirent Communications is a provider of integrated performance analysis and service assurance systems for next-generation network technologies. Spirent's solutions accelerate the development and deployment of network equipment and services by emulating real-world conditions in the lab and assuring end-to-end performance of large-scale networks.

Spirent's performance analysis solutions include instruments and systems that measure and analyze the performance of network equipment, particularly the devices that route voice and data messages to their destination. Spirent's service assurance solutions include remote test, fault and performance management systems that let network service providers quickly identify network faults and monitor real-time performance.
