Upon completion of the Service Provider Vision session, technical sessions will convene to feature work underway in SDOs and Forums, including the ITU-T, IETF, Committee T1, and TIA. During these sessions, leaders from twelve SDOs and Forums will identify and discuss their needs and requirements surrounding VoIP, including collaborative efforts underway within their regions to achieve international harmonization.

In addition to Committee T1, participating organizations to date include the ATM Forum; the Internet Engineering Task Force; ETSI TIPHON; the International Telecommunications Union - Telecommunication Standardization Sector Study Groups 11, 12, 13 and 16; the International Softswitch Consortium; the Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) Forum; the Multiservice Switching Forum; the Third Generation Partnership Project (3GPP); the Telecommunications Industry Association Engineering Committees TR 30, 34, 41, and 45; the IPDR Forum, and the ENUM Forum.
