ESIF representatives and wireless experts will discuss the ATIS-sponsored ESIF's Request For Stay to the FCC's mandate requiring the use of 123-456-7890 number code for non-service initialized and "911 only" wireless phones. Additional topics include the ESIF Petition for Reconsideration calling for the FCC to revisit issues surrounding non-service initialized wireless handsets, and the ESIF's recommendation of the potential solution found in joint industry standard Annex C J-STD-036,
"Enhanced Wireless 9-1-1 Phase 2."
