Program Content:

Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) and wireless
subject matter experts will discuss the impact and implementation issues surrounding Wireless Number Portability (WNP) and Number Pooling (NP). WNP and NP are mandated by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to take effect on November 24, 2002.

The Web Conference will assist in determining where possible risks exist to the PSTN with the implementation of WNP and NP, which is expected to significantly increase service load on the PSTN.
