Robocalling Testbed

The ATIS Robocalling Testbed, hosted by the Neustar Trust Lab, serves as the industry interoperability test facility to validate the effectiveness of caller authentication standards developed by the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) and ATIS. Specifically, ATIS developed “Signature-based Handling of Asserted information using toKENs” (SHAKEN) as an implementation framework for service providers to better combat robocalls and call spoofing on IP-based networks.

Any service provider with an assigned Operating Company Number (OCN), as maintained by the National Exchange Carrier Association, Inc. (NECA), is eligible to participate. Other parties, such as equipment manufacturers, may participate if they have solutions relevant to the SHAKEN framework available to test.

All Robocalling Testbed participants have signed the ATIS Testbeds Confidentiality Agreement. If you are interested in participating in the ATIS Robocalling Testbed, please sign the ATIS Testbeds Confidentiality Agreement and return it to ATIS at legal@atis.org. A list of signatories is available here.

Participants wishing to test their products/services must also complete the Robocalling Testbed Use Policy. To learn more about the ATIS Robocalling Testbed and how to participate, visit: neustar.biz/atis-testbed.
